A closer look
Equipped for demanding mountain hikes and scrambles in uncertain weather, the Rab Firewall Jacket offers 3-layer waterproof protection to keep the elements at bay. With robust 40DPertex® Shieldfabric, it’s built to survive scuffs with rock and pack abrasion, yet is highly breathable and comfortable. When you’re gaining elevation in a turbulent forecast, this protective shell is prepared for anything in your path.

Pertex Shield 3-Layer is a waterproof, windproof, and breathable fabric with a rugged 3-layer construction. Offering increased durability over a 2.5-layer fabric while remaining soft, lightweight, and packable, it’s ideal for rigorous mountain use.
