Mountain Equipment Insulated Jackets-Womens Superflux Jacket – Comos-Porcelain Lining

Constructed with down-like, featherless insulation, the Superflux is a protective layer for freezing mountaineering and ski touring days.

Materials
DriLite Loft – Uses a polyurethane membrane bonded to the reverse of a face fabric to provide greatly improved water resistance, exceeding a hydrostatic head of 1500mm. Weighing 55g/m2, it is ideal for protecting high quality down and synthetic insulations.

POLARLOFT Featherless – is blown into baffles in a garment in the same way that down garments are filled. Featherless offers greater loft and comfort than sheet insulations and moves much better with the body, making it more wearable and adaptable. It thrives in bad conditions, where its superior water resistance and real-life durability are most important. While down insulation grabs the headlines for its warmth to weight ratio, loft and comfort, synthetic insulation’s superior route-proof nature means it will keep working when most down insulated stuff have given up and gone home.

A closer look
Stitched through baffle construction reduces weight by minimising the amount of outer fabric and stitching required, and the baffle-by-baffle approach optimises insulation distribution and reduces any likelihood of cold spots.

Adjustable, elastane bound Mountain Hood, elastane bound cuffs and dual tether hem drawcord seal in warmth, while the two zipped hand warmer and internal zipped security pockets keep your essentials organised.
