Hilleberg Backpacking & Lightweight Tents-Kaitum 2 Tent – Green

The Hilleberg Kaitum 2 is a highly versatile, all-season tent that balance light weight, comfort, and high strength. Its all-season strength and impressive space to weight ratio makes it ideal for backpackers, paddle tourers and cyclists as well as hunters, winter campers, ski tourers and climbers.

Part of Hilleberg’s Red Label range, these tents are designed for both short and longer trips in generally less demanding conditions in all seasons.

The tunnel construction offers maximum, and plenty of space for 2 occupants. The design requires only four pegs for quick pitching and the continuous pole sleeve and tensioner system makes this tent quick to pitch, take down and remarkably stable. The outer tent walls extend to the ground and the mesh areas are covered by zipper adjustable, fabric panels for all season comfort.

Dual entrances and vestibules ensure that one door can always be situated out of the wind, provide flexible entry/ exit and storage options and the standard sized vestibules can be rolled away for tremendous venting. Four integrated stowage pockets help to keep you organised, and the high bathtub floor keeps out groundwater. Adjustable vents on the ends can be closed with snow-proof panels, both of which are accessible from inside or outside the tent. Guy lines on the vestibule vent hood and looped guy lines affixed to twin attachments on each side of each pole increase stability in poor conditions.

Optional Additions – Available Separately
For added protection, an additional tough Footprint can be purchased to help protect the tent’s floor from abrasion and to keep ground moisture from rising in the vestibule.
